ABSTRACT
Hypothalamic hamartoma is a rare malformation usually discovered during a work-up for precocious puberty or, more rarely, seizures. It is of particular interest because of the still mysterious mechanism that causes symptoms. CT is a useful diagnostic method for localising and defining the lesion, but MRI might be expected to provide better detail of these generally small tumors We report seven cases, associated with precocious puberty, and diagnosed only by CT, disclosing a small supra-sellar mass
